Accreditation is a rigorous process that involves meeting regulatory standards and criterion to ensure effectiveness in program delivery. The accreditation process varies across agencies, each having its own set of rules and standards. At Hardon Education, we hold accreditation and approval from various agencies. While approval from some accrediting agencies are mandatory, some are optional. Below is an overview of the accreditations and approvals at Hardon Education.
Indiana Board for Proprietary Education/Indiana Commission for Higher Education
The Commission for Higher Education is charged with coordinating higher education in Indiana. This 7-member public body is charged with authorizing all accredited Indiana proprietary institutions that grant degrees, as well as all accredited proprietary degree-granting, out-of-state institutions that offer instruction in Indiana. Indiana State Department of Health
The Certified Nurse Aide & Qualified Medication Aide: Training, Certification & Recertification and Registration Program ensures that individuals meet both the state and federal requirements for a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) and are on the Indiana Aides Registry. The Certificate in Nurse Aide & Qualified Medication Aide Programs at Hardon Education are approved by the Indiana State Department Health. Indiana State Board of Nursing
The Indiana State Board of Nursing (ISBN) accredits and approves all nursing education programs offered in the state of Indiana. On February 16, 2023, the ISBN granted initial accreditation for the Certificate in Practical Nursing program at Hardon Education. Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) supports the interests of nursing education, nursing practice, and the public by providing specialized accreditation for all levels of nursing education and transition-to-practice programs. Effective February 7, 2023, the Certificate in Practical Nursing program is a candidate for initial accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing.
