Indiana Board for Proprietary Education/Indiana Commission for Higher Education
The Commission for Higher Education is charged with coordinating higher education in Indiana. This 7-member public body is charged with authorizing all accredited Indiana proprietary institutions that grant degrees, as well as all accredited proprietary degree-granting, out-of-state institutions that offer instruction in Indiana. The Certified Nurse Aide & Qualified Medication Aide: Training, Certification & Recertification and Registration Program ensures that individuals meet both the state and federal requirements for a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) and are on the Indiana Aides Registry. Indiana State Board of Nursing
The Indiana State Board of Nursing (ISBN) accredits and approves all nursing education programs offered in the state of Indiana. On February 16, 2023, the ISBN granted initial accreditation for the Certificate in Practical Nursing program at Hardon Education. Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) supports the interests of nursing education, nursing practice, and the public by providing specialized accreditation for all levels of nursing education and transition-to-practice programs.
